For the last few months I have been sitting on some good news and was waiting for that 100% confirmation before I went public with it. Turns out that confirmation is being drawn out longer than I originally thought and I can’t keep my mouth shut.
As you may have known, I have been working for NOAA’s National Geodetic Survey (NGS) in Washington, DC since last June. Though DC has been a great experience, I had nostalgia for Iowa and wanted to return to the Midwest. Continue reading ‘Sitting on Good News’

My roommate got me interested in participating the latest anti-war protest yesterday in Washington, DC. Yesterday mark the fifth anniversary of the war. For the first few seasons I ignored the craze. It wasn’t until after then end of Season 3 that I finally decided I would start watching Lost a TV show by ABC… from the very beginning. I had a lot of ground to cover. Thankfully, instead of having to rent the DVDs from the video store, I was able to catchup episode by episode at ABC.com. After months of watching episodes here and there, I finally caught up with the show last night, ready for the next episode on Friday night.
