RAGBRAI 2008 Route Announced

I came home to a bunch of emails from various people alerting me that RAGBRAI has announced it’s route for 2008. For those who can’t see the image above (web crawlers), RAGBRAI 2008 will be starting in Missouri Valley, followed by Harlan, Jefferson, Ames, Tama-Toledo, North Liberty, Tipton, and finishing in Le Claire, Iowa. First Impressions: Jott

Simply put, Jott is a voice-to-text transcription service. Still don’t follow? You call Jott, speak, hang up, and moments later you receive your words in text via email and/or text messaging. You can also set it up to send to other contacts and/or other web applications like Google Calendar.

Spring In January

Washington DC and many other parts of the Mid-Atlantic are experiencing some pretty warm weather right now for the month of January. For this Iowa boy it is messing with everything I thought I knew about the month of January. It is currently 65 degrees here with a forecast of 72 while it is just above freezing back home in Iowa. Instead of wiping snot from my nose, I am wiping perspiration from my brow. I wonder what all the plants make of all this. Time to start budding?
